Norms

This page describes how members of The Storm are expected to behave. In game, /rules opens the server rules. Staff review reports and apply moderation according to the offense and its history.

General

These items apply everywhere The Storm has a presence, such as our Minecraft server and Discord server.

• Avoid excessive profanity
• Don’t discriminate or bully
• Keep topics safe-for-work

Survival

These items apply specifically to the survival Minecraft server.

• No griefing. Build on your own land or with permission. Staff can roll griefing back.
• Unlocked containers are fair game where you have access. Locked containers are off-limits. Newly placed containers lock automatically; /lock info checks the container you look at.
• Do not kill other players’ animals, pets, or villagers.
• No harassment, following, trapping, or spamming other players.
• PvP is enabled by default outside protected spawn. /pvp off opts out; you can change your setting once a week.
• No hacks or bug exploits.

Your grave is protected for two hours. After that, other players can take its contents; /graves lists your graves.

What you type to NPCs may be sent to an AI provider to write their replies. See transparency for more about the server.
