Quest offers and hand-ins

Talk to NPCs in the permanent main world to find and complete quests.

1. Interact with an NPC and read their dialogue. Some offers have requirements, such as completing another quest first, so an NPC may have more to offer later.
2. Accept a quest and open /quests to check its current objectives. Use /quests track <quest> to follow it.
3. When an objective asks for items, bring them to the named NPC. Partial item hand-ins count, so you can deliver what you have and return with the rest.
4. Return to the appropriate NPC to report progress or finish the quest. A ? marker can indicate a hand-in or report is available.

If you want to stop a quest, use /quests abandon <quest>. See Quests and NPCs for the journal and NPC conversations.

If progress does not advance

1. Open /quests and check that you accepted the quest and are working on its current objective.
2. Return to the permanent main world. Quest offers and progress are limited to that world.
3. For an item hand-in, bring the requested items to the NPC named in the objective and choose the hand-in option. Picking up the items alone does not hand them in.
4. If the objective asks you to report, speak to the named NPC. A ? marker can show where a hand-in or report is available.

If it still does not advance, use /ticket <what happened> and include the quest, objective, and NPC involved.
