What is different from vanilla?
You can gather, craft, build, and explore as usual. The Storm adds shared-world protections, travel, and activities around that familiar survival game.
- Land and storage: camps and claims protect building space, and new containers lock automatically. See your first session.
- Travel: save homes and use commands to visit spawn or explore other worlds. Travel can cost crystals and has cooldowns. See travel.
- Death and combat: belongings go into a grave, and PvP is enabled outside spawn unless you opt out. See graves and PvP and safety.
- Community: townsfolk offer quests and rewards, and players can trade with crystals. Storm Shards can improve equipment. Use
/questsfor your journal and/balfor your balance. - A shared home: the worlds are permanent, so other players’ builds and choices remain part of the landscape. Check who owns land before building and ask before changing another player’s work. See playing in a shared world.
- Sleep: half of the players in an overworld need to sleep to skip the night; AFK players are excluded unless they are in bed.
For the rules that keep shared worlds enjoyable, read norms.
